Online Casinos that pay out

The best online casinos that pay out are very often rated on a number of criteria to determine how attractive they are to new players. The list will generally include such things as the quality and variety of their games, diversity of payment methods, design of the site and the general user experience. What those factors don’t necessarily tell you is how much a casino be trusted in terms of actually paying out what they owe you.

And not just that they’ll pay out full stop. But also, that they’ll do so in quick time without making you jump through hoops. And that they’ll also give you a fair crack of the whip when it comes offering games with decent pay-outs and bonuses that are possible, rather than impossible, to withdraw winnings from. Here’s what else to look out for.

It’s an experienced casino

Experience goes a long way and when it comes to online casinos and the more of it they have, the better. If a brand-new casino offering barely-believable huge bonuses seems too good to be true, maybe it’s because it is too good to be true and they plan to fleece their customers, before disappearing into the sunset with everyone’s money. But a casino who’s been around for at least five years will tend to have a good track record of paying out customer winnings, or else they wouldn’t have lasted this long. They would either have attracted so much bad press (a quick Google search will tell you this) or lost so many customers (if they didn’t pay out) that they wouldn’t be able to operate anymore.

The withdrawal process is simple and quick

Any online casino will insist that you pass a verification process before you make your first withdrawal. Just like you may be suspicious of them, they have every right of being suspicious of you! By that we mean they want to be sure that you are who you say you are, live where you say you do and that the bank account/E-Wallet you’re looking to withdraw to is actually yours. But that doesn’t mean making the process near-on impossible. Asking for a copy of your driver’s licence and utility bill is one thing, asking for five different proofs of ID or worse still, for them to be notarised, is quite another thing. As is the withdrawal time once you’ve eventually passed the verification process.

Some payment methods for withdrawal are quicker than others but none should take seven days or more, unless it’s a cheque being mailed. If they do, it’s likely to just be a stalling tactic where they’re hoping that you’ll carry on playing with your winnings and losing the lot before the withdrawal is actually processed. Read our online casino reviews about the casino’s withdrawal times, comments from players about it or check the terms and conditions to make sure their withdrawal times aren’t unreasonable, and that the verification process is quick and fair.

They have fair wagering requirements

The best casino bonuses aren’t free money, far from it. They’re generally a reward for you doing something like making a deposit or playing a particular game. And 99% of the time they’ll carry wagering requirements, which is the casino’s way of ensuring they protect themselves from bonus hunters looking to cash in on their bonuses and run. So, it’s fair enough that casino bonuses have wagering requirements. They mean that you need to play through a bonus x number of times before you can withdraw the bonus itself and winnings generated from it.

But there are wagering requirements and then there are wagering requirements.  Wagering requirements of 30x or 35x are possible to play through if you pick the right games and play them sensibly. Wagering requirements of 50X or more will be almost impossible to turn over and if getting these involve making a deposit, you’re often better off not bothering with them. All of which means casinos whose bonuses have unusually high wagering requirements aren’t to be trusted too much.

Their games have decent RTPs

You’re unlikely to have anything to withdraw at all if a casino’s games have RTPs that are so low that you’re getting ripped off when playing most of their games. An RTP (Return Player) tells you how generous a game is. An RTP of 95% means that on average the game will return 95 CAD for every 100 CAD bet on it, which is fair enough.

Most casino tables like roulette or blackjack have fixed RTPs, so they’ll be the same everywhere. But a casino can choose to stock their lobby with slots that have low RTPs, thus not giving players much of a chance. If most of a casino’s slots and other games have a notably low RTP, then not only are you unlikely to win much, but the casino may well be stingy and difficult when it comes to actually paying out any winnings at all.
