Savanna King Slots

Savanna King is the latest 5-Reel, 1024 Ways to Win slot game from the Bovada family of online casinos. It has an African Safari theme and the potential for some nice prizes. Let’s take a look at the game and what you can win.

Go With the Savanna King on a Safari Adventure

Savanna King is the latest 1024 Ways to Win online slots game from the Bovada family of real money online casinos. The backdrop is a savanna where you can go on a Safari with all of the animals of the region. The graphics and sound on this game are somewhat average. The exception is when you’re in the buildup to the free spins game. Then you’ll have a stampede beginning, which is probably one of the most impressive animations in the game.

Savanna King Nice Win 3

The paytable includes Royals, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and the lion. There’s also a tribal Wild symbol that substitutes for everything except for scatters.

Zebras, rhinos, and lions pay for two of a kind or more while other symbols pay for three of a kind or more. One thing I like about this game is that lower paying symbols will turn a profit on four of a kind or more for a single-line win. Otherwise, you will need multi-line wins to have a shot at turning a profit for most spins.

Savanna Stampede Free Spins

The Savanna King symbol is the scatter for this game. If you land three or more on the board, you will trigger the Savanna Stampede Free Spins feature. You’ll get 8, 15, or 20 free spins for 3, 4, or 5 scatters respectively. This symbol is also a paying symbol for three or more on board.

If a Wild falls on Reels 2 through 4, they will animate and give you a multiplier of 2, 3, or 4. They will multiply all wins on the board. If multiple multipliers are on board, they multiply together.

Savanna King Free Spins 2

If two or more scatters appear during a spin, you’ll get extra free spins. You’ll get 5, 8, 15, or 20 additional spins respective to catching 2, 3, 4, or 5 scatters.

This feature took an excessively long time to trigger and it was not worth the effort. The first time, I won about 5x my bet. I played a bit longer and got the feature to trigger again, but this time I only won 2x my bet. A pretty pathetic free games feature.

Savanna King Extremely High Variance Game That Should Be Avoided

On paper, it would seem that Savanna King would be a fun game to play. The theme is simple enough, but the reality is that the game plays too tight for many players. It took nearly 200 spins to trigger the free spins game, and both triggers combined wouldn’t have made the effort worth it.

Savanna King 5 of a Kind

Had the game provided some significant base game wins, I might have a different opinion. However, I only cracked $10 once on any single spin. The game definitely is not for lower-stakes players at wagers range from $1.25 to $500 per spin. Couple that with some insanely high variance, and this game is one that you should avoid.

You don’t have to take my word for it. If you want to give this game a try, you can find it at Ignition Casino, Slots.LV, or any of the Bovada family of online casinos.

Don’t let this review discourage you from playing at the site. Not every online slot game is going to be a home run. There will be duds in all online casino games. That’s why we work tirelessly to bring you information on the latest and greatest online slot games.
