If you love classic monster movies like Dracula, The Wolf Man, or Frankenstein, then you will enjoy Bovada’s newest online slot game. Monster Manor is the latest 5-Reel, 50 payline online slot game from the Bovada family of casinos.

The game features a fun monster theme with Wild Cat Wilds, a bonus game, and a free spins feature that can help you win up to 2,500x your bet.

Hang Out With Classic Movie Monsters and Win Big

For those that love watching old black and white monster films like Dracula and Frankenstein, Monster Manor will be a fun jaunt down memory lane. The game has more of a Monster Squad feel with more cartoonish representations of classic movie monsters.

The pay symbols for this game are basic. You have Royals as your lower paying symbols. Higher paying symbols are The Mummy, Wolf Man, Frankenstein, and Dracula. Dracula pays the most with 400 credits for 5 of a kind.

Monster Manor Main Game

Like most modern 5-Reel games, you need multi-line wins to turn a profit. This game has multiple features to help you increase your winnings.

Black Cat Wilds

The Black Cat is the wild for this game. It substitutes for anything other than the two scatter symbols. When you land 3 or more wilds on a payline, you receive a multiplier on that paylilne. Three Black Cat Wilds on a payline gives you a 3x multiplier. Four Black Cat Wilds will give you a 4x multiplier. If you get lucky and get 5 Black Cat Wilds on a payline, you’ll get a payout equal to five Draculas.

The wilds come up pretty regularly, but I was only able to get 2 or more on a payline once. It would have been nice to see the multiplier hit more often.

Bonus Game Feature

The Ghost Bonus symbol is the first of two scatter symbols in this game. If you land three on the board, you will unlock the bonus game. In the bonus game, you will pick potions from a board full of potions. Match three potion symbols and win the prize associated with that potion.

Monster Manor Bonus Game

I was able to unlock this feature once and ended up picking a potion worth 6x my bet. The prizes for this feature were just “ok.” Better prizes would make this feature better.

Free Spins Game

The Bat symbol is the Free Spins scatter for this game. Land three on the board to trigger the free spins game. You’ll also receive a payout on top of triggering the free games. Here’s what you will get when you trigger the free spins game:

  • 3 Bats – 2x payout on scatters and 10 free spins
  • 4 Bats – 10x payout on scatters and 10 free spins
  • 5 Bats – 50x payout on scatters and 10 free spins

All free spins come with a 3x multiplier. Also, if a Black Cat Wild falls on Reel 3 during free spins, the cat becomes a Witch and covers all three lines.

Monster Manor Free Spins 2

It took me quite a while to trigger this feature, and once it did, I only won about 6x my initial bet during the spins. Overall, this was very disappointing for the amount of time it took to get to the free spins game.

Monster Manor Plays Much Tighter Than Its RTP Suggests

When I selected this game, I expected a fun time due to a high 96% RTP. For a while, things went well, but after a while, the game started playing very tight. Couple that with some disappointing bonus games, and I ended up having a very disappointing session.

Overall, this game has some great features, but the variance may be a bit higher than some might like. As such, you may want to stick to playing lower stakes for this slot game. Monster Manor is available at Slots.LV, Ignition Casino, BoVegas, and all real money online casinos in the Bovada family.
