It’s a hot time in the old town tonight with Instant Inferno. Instant Inferno is the latest 5-Reel, 30 payline slot game from the Bovada family of online casinos. The game is an updated fruit slot game with multiple scatters and a free games feature. Let’s look at this game and its features.

Instant Inferno Sets The World Ablaze

Instant Inferno is the latest 5-Reel fruit slot game from the Bovada family of real money online casinos. The game is all about hot wins. The base game symbols are pretty standard with lower-paying symbols consisting of cherries, bells, and various combinations of bars. Your higher paying symbols are combinations of hot 7s. Three triple 7s is the highest paying symbol.

The Wild symbol is also a paying symbol, paying on three or more on a payline. Wilds substitute for all symbols except for the scatters and the bonus symbol. Let’s take a look at the various features of this game.

Instant Inferno

The first of two scatters is the yellow Instant Inferno symbol. It pays whenever 3 or more land anywhere on the board. Three pay 1x your bet. This goes all the way up to 2,000x your initial bet for 9 scatters.

Instant Inferno Scatter Wins

You’ll get at least three scatters fairly consistently. I was never able to get more than three at any point in my testing.

Premium Inferno

The red Premium Inferno symbol is the second scatter of the game. You will get paid when three, four, or five lands anywhere on the screen. Three symbols pay 2x your bet. Four symbols pay 25x your bet while five symbols pay 5,000 times your initial bet.

I was never able to get three or more of the Premium Inferno symbols. This is extremely disappointing.

Free Spins Game

The pot of gold Bonus symbol is the free games scatter for this game. If you land the symbol on Reels 3, 4, and 5, you will trigger the Pick Me game. During the Pick Me game, you will pick from 20 tiles one at a time to reveal a prize. This continues until you match three prizes.

The Wild tiles will substitute for the highest total currently showing on the board. It also adds 5 additional free spins to whatever prize you get. The prizes include both free spins and a multiplier. Free spins are re-triggerable.

Unfortunately, I was never able to trigger this feature after well over 150 spins. This is extremely disappointing and not a good sign for the average player.

Instant Inferno Flames Out Due to Extremely High Volatility

I am a big fan of fruit slots, so I was hopeful that Instant Inferno would be a hot time. It became clear pretty quickly that this game is pretty much a dud. The game’s features are a bit too difficult to trigger and there aren’t too many decent wins in the base game to help you get to the bonus game. The lack of winnings from the Premium Inferno scatter didn’t help either.

Instant Inferno Main Game

While the RTP is not published for this game, I would say it is somewhere around 94%. It may be better, but the game’s play does not back it up. This is not a game for the average small stakes player but rather for those that don’t mind dumping a lot of money to chase a big win.

Instant Inferno can be found at Slots.LV, Ignition Casino, Cafe Casino, and the entire family of Bovada online casinos. While the concept for the game is awesome, it plays a bit too tightly for the average slots game player.
